THE ISLAND
Furaveri Maldives is a stunning naturally formed tropical coral island that spans approximately 750m in length and 400m in width with lush vegetation. It is situated in the exotic Rat Atoll, around 150km north of the capital city, Male’. The island is blessed with one the best house reefs in the Maldives, which can be reached with just few strokes from the beach, additionally the natural beach surrounding the island is simply breathtaking. Furaveri Maldives offers easy access to the some of the world-class dive sites, manta cleaning and feeding stations including famous bio-reserve ” Hanifaru Bay” Solar Corner, Bodufaru and Maamunagaa Lagoo with a boat ride.
GETTING HERE
Furaveri Maldives is mere 45-minute scenic seaplane ride away from the international airport. Domestic plane transfers are available from the nearby Dharavandhoo and Ifuru airports, which take 20 minutes, followed by a 45-minute speed boat ride to Furaveri Maldives
SEAPLANE TRANSFER
The breathtaking scenic seaplane transfer to Furaveri Island takes about 45 minutes. The flights are operated by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) and available during daytime hours only. The flight times are subject to weather conditions and schedules may involve one short stop en route. Flight times are confirmed the evening prior to travel.
DOMESTIC TRANSFER
The domestic flight scenic, operated by domestic airlines Villa air, Manta or Island Aviation available during day and night time hours. The comfortable 20 minutes flights are followed by a 45 minute speedboat trip organised by Furaveri Maldives.

While our Airport team prepares scenic seaplane for departure to the resort, guests get the opportunity to relax in the Furaveri Maldives dedicated seaplane lounge. Variety of amenities are offered at the lounge for our guests convenience, with comfortable seating, free high speed Wi-Fi, scenic views and arrays of snack, tea, coffee and bottled water. For younger travellers play area with activity books, dedicated zone with massage chairs, wash room with baby changing facilities and shower and dedicated service staff available to take care of guests every need.
